Bassetlaw Labour Party represents the national Labour Party in the Bassetlaw constituency, covering Worksop, Retford, Harworth, and surrounding villages.

At the most recent local elections in May 2023, 38 Labour councillors were elected to represent local residents on Bassetlaw District Council. There are 3 Labour county councillors representing areas in Bassetlaw on Nottinghamshire County Council.

Bassetlaw Labour has selected Jo White to be our candidate for Bassetlaw MP at the next general election.

The Bassetlaw Constituency Labour Party (CLP) comprises all Labour Party members residing in the Bassetlaw parliamentary constituency. The CLP is divided into three branches (BLP), each of which elects delegates to represent them at CLP meetings.

Bassetlaw CLP meetings are open to all members but only delegates may vote.

Bassetlaw Labour Party is managed by an Executive Committee made up of key officers elected by the CLP.

Bassetlaw Constituency Labour Party is made up of three branches which represent Labour members at the local level.
